We are fully qualified in working on all makes and models, domestic and foreign, from the smallest compact car to a beefy 80,000 GVW truck. To meet this goal we use original equipment parts and precise repair techniques with some of the most highly trained and experienced technicians in the industry. All of our technicians recieve periodic General Motors, ASE, and ICAR training in order to keep pace with the rapidly changing industry standards and techniques. Since 1997, General Motors has recognized the Body Shop for successfully completing 100% of the requirements under the Chevrolet Service Training Standards. With an average of over 15 years experience per technician, you can be confident that your car or truck will receive the very best repair possible.
Jamie Detweiler, Body Shop Manager, joined McCormick Motors in June 1987. He is a General Motors Master Technician and ASE certified for body and structural repair. He is also certified for various paint systems including DuPont, Martin Senour and PPG.In 1987 Jamie started working in the Body Shop for his Dad, Joe, who ran the shop for 46 years. Along with the body repairs Jamie also writes estimates and works with Insurance companies making sure the customer is getting the repair they expect. Following in his Fathers’ footsteps Jamie, like his Dad did, takes a great deal of pride in his work. He is a perfectionist, focused on customer satisfaction. Jamie enjoys camping with his wife in all the State Parks and watching Michigan football.
Mary Kline, Office Manager, Mary came to McCormick’s in 2015 with almost 25 years of customer service experience, 7 years office experience and 3 years experience in management. Mary is responsible for the scheduling and ordering and checking in of parts. She works closely with the customer and the insurance companies to make sure the repairs are completed as expected. Mary also keeps track of employee hours, invoicing, receiving payments and maintains the office. In her spare time Mary enjoys reading, writing and spending time with her 4 children.
Nick Flenar, Body Shop Technician, joined McCormick Motors in June 2014. He is a graduate of Wawasee High School and has over a decade of experience in automotive body repairs. He’s brought 10 years of auto body repair experience to the body shop. Nick enjoys attending drag races and working on old cars and tractors and spending time with his wife and their 2 little girls.
Jesus Silva, Body Shop Techncian, joined McCormick Motors in March 2007. Jesus is responsible for preparing vehicle panels for painting and for masking units in preparation for painting. He also helps out with the vehicle repairs. McCormick’s is Jesus’s 2nd job, he’s worked for another company in Nappanee for 25 years. In the rare event he finds himself with spare time Jesus enjoys spending it with his daughter who is in college and his friends.
Jon Nine, Body Shop Techncian, joined Mc Cormick Morots January 2017. Jon comes to us with a great work ethic and 3 years' experience in body work. He is a 2012 graduate from Plymouth High School. In his spare time Jon enjoys jet skiing and being an outdoorsman.
Paul Detweiler, Body Shop Technician. Paul started working in the body shop in 1987. Paul is responsible for clean up and prepping parts. He also washes and details the vehicles once the repairs are complete. Paul enjoys watching Notre Dame Football, playing pool and going to garage sales.
