Bernard B. Beer, President, has been with McCormick Motors since 1961. Starting as a salesman, he became the Dealer Operator and President of the company in March 1997. Over the course of his sales career he was the top salesman in the zone on three occasions. He has been a long time member of the Society of Sales Executives and Legion of Leaders. He is a graduate of the Chevrolet Academy of Retail Sales Executives, the Chevrolet Commercial College, and the Chevrolet Medium Duty Certification Program. He has been repeatedly recognized by Chevrolet Motor Division for his lifetime commitment to sales excellence and customer satisfaction. Bernie is a member of the National GM Commercial Dealer Advisory Council providing dealer feedback to GM on issues of concern to commercial dealers.
Gordon K. Moore, Vice President, is a 1974 graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. Gordon joined the staff at McCormick Motors in August 1997 retiring as a Colonel following over 23 years of service in the Army. Since joining the dealership in 1997 Gordon has focused on modernizing both the buildings and the application of technology within the dealership. In 2007 he was recognized by USA Today as one of four finalists in the annual dealer technology award in recognition for innovative energy efficiency and environmental practices. Gordon has served on a number of non-profit boards to include the Nappanee Boys and Girls Club for nine years and the Merry Lea Environmental Board from 2009 to 2015. He joined the Board of Directors of the Elkhart County Community Foundation in October of 2012 where he is the chair of the Scholarship Committee. In 2010 he was elected to the Isuzu Dealer Council.
Sam Sheets, Commercial Vehicle Sales, joined McCormick Motors in 1984 and acheived recognition in the Legion of Leaders and Truck Honor Club every year. He is a graduate of Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a graduate of the Chevrolet Commercial College. Prior to joining McCormick Motors Sam spent 13 years as a bank officer of First National Bank of Elkhart.
Tom Nunemaker, joined Mccormick Motors in May 2007. In 2012 Tom placed #6 in the Nation in a Chevrolet Sonic show what you know sales competition. The National competition began with close to 4000 sales consultants with the Top 10 competing in Birmingham, MI. He is a graduate of the Chevrolet Medium Duty Certification Program and is a member of the GM Mark of Excellence program. Prior to joining McCormick Motors he spent 7 years in the EMS field as a Paramedic.
Sue Glant, joined the McCormick sales staff in September 2010. She brings over 26 years of automotive sales experience and is a member of the GM Mark of Excellence club. Sue is a graduate of Indiana University with a major in business. Sue is also an instructor for Weight Watchers in Nappanee and South Bend. She is a life long resident in the area and resides in Bremen.
Mitch Andrews, joined the McCormick sales staff in Febuary 2017. He graduated from Bremen High School in 2012 followed by Anderson University for business and medical training. Mitch likes to work out , eat, read and watches a lot of movies. His favorite thing to do is make people smile!
Sales Support Staff
Sheryl Wineland, Sales Support Administrator, joined McCormick Motors in April 2005. Sheryl assists the dealer principal and is responsible for processing bid assistance for all fleet and government entities. She also submits orders for all fleet vehicles for dealers and the ordering of bailment pool vehicles. Prior to becoming a sales support administrator Sheryl worked in our service department as the Automobile and Light Duty Service Consultant. Her previous work experience includes Account Manager & Sales Representative for Ascot Enterprises.
Business Office Staff
Betsy Wenz, Business Accounting Manager, joined McCormick Motors in June 2010. Betsy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University, and a Master of Business Administration from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Her previous work experience includes five years with Ernst & Young, two years in the healthcare industry, and five years as an adjunct accounting instructor at the college level.
Susan Zeiger, Human Resources, joined McCormick Motors on January 7, 1998. Susan is a graduate of Bremen High School and received the Professional Associate Award for over 12 years while with McCormick Motors. Her previous work experience includes Accounting and Administration for Brooklyn Products.
Lori Flower, Detail Department supervisor, started at McCormick Motors December 2017.
Mitchell Pippenger, Lot Attentdant, joined McCormick Motors in August 2012. Mitchell is a 2011 graduate of Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas.
